It was gathered that Ben Foster the "Big Dawg" is dead. He died on Wednesday at a Lagos medical facility, where he was receiving treatment for an unknown ailment.
There has been an emotional outpour on the media, as friends and colleagues confirmed the news and paid tributes to him.
Among such is a former host of the popular TV show, Who Wants to be a Millionaire, Frank Edoho, who said a friend confirmed the news to him.
“Ijust got off the phone, my friend Oscar confirmed that Dan Foster has passed on. This is a very very dark year. How can I overcome this unending melancholy? Rest in Peace, dear friend,” Edoho tweeted.
A radio presenter, Do2dtun Energy, @iamDo2dtun, said Foster gave him the strength for his job.
“This is really painful,” he tweeted.
Comedian, Bovi, said, “When I moved to Lagos in November 2003, Dan Foster was one of the reasons I didn’t run back home to Delta State. I tuned into Cool Fm one morning and Dan made me love radio. Rip Big Dawg! I’m sad you left. But I’m happy your mark remains forever!”
Taylor Swift cancels all live appearances and performances for the remainder of the year 2020 in what she said was an effort to prevent the spread of Covid-19.

Previously scheduled shows will take place in 2021 and ticket holders will be given new tickets then, according to a statement attached to her tweet. Refunds for the US shows will be available May 1st subject to Ticketmaster's terms, it said.
Swift isn't the only one who has changed up touring schedules in light of the pandemic, which has infected more than 2 million people worldwide.

Or that the pigs swam over from a shipwreck nearby. Wherever they came from, there are now about 20 pigs and piglets on Pig Beach. With daily visits from Bahamians and tourists, the pigs are living the easy life on Big Major Cay."
