Phyno and of course Jamal Zamani (Ice Prince’s son) KILLED IT at the Fire of Zamani Album Launch!
The anticipated launch which took place at the Eko Hotel and Suites brought down the house VIP style – Ice Prince gave the real FIRE of ZAMANI.
Ice Prince also represented fashionably – not missing one style beat – baseball cap, Tshirts, Blazers, Sneakers, Jewellery – everything was on point Ice Prince style.
Ice Prince started with a solo performance paying homage to FELA with his props and even invited Dele Momodu’s son, Enikorewafunmi to join him on stage when he noticed the young boy singing excitedly.
One of Naija’s finest, Modenine, Baddest Olamide, Ibo Boy Phyno and SouthSouth Yung L joined Ice Prince to deliver a show stopping performance of the track Gimme Dat. Modenine showed the guests the reason why he as been in the business for a long time, Phyno who delivered some sick flows in Igbo, Yung L made a grand entrance with his reggae style rap while Olamide added a touch of fuji to the performance.
Jerimiah Gyang and Ice did their thing with playful Hasusa infused ‘On My Kneees’.
Half way through the show, Hon. Patrick Obahiagbon introduced Ice Prince and British artist, Chipmunk in the most eloquent grammatical introduction of any entertainer. Ice Prince and Chipmunk DELIVERED on ‘Mercy’ with a mini runway collection from House of Nwocha with Creative Director Ugonna Omeruo on hand to bow right after the last dress.
The Mavins - Don Jazzy and Dr Sid arrived on stage looking fabulous in traditional outfits as worn to Tiwa’s wedding also entertained the guests with their song, Surulere. Sunny Nneji in his pinstripe blazer shared Whiskey with the crowd. Shaydee performed his version of Ice Prince and French Montana’s ‘I Swear’ and fellow Choc Boy, M.I arrived on stage giving fans a good semi-close to the show.
Ice prince also brought his son, Jamal on stage - so sweet. In the crowd, D’Banj, Dare Art-Alade, AY the comedian, DJ Jimmy Jatt, Ikechukwu aka Killz and many more. There is certainly a reason why Everyone Loves Iceprince.
