Cameroon Blames Boko Haram For Killings

The west Africa Cameroon has accused the Islamic sect of the recent suicide bombing.rn village, killing at least 9 and injuring more than 29 persons.

Minister of Communications Issa Tchiroma Bakary blamed Boko Haram for the attack early Sunday at a food market in Kangeleri near Mora town.

He said Boko Haram now uses young men and women for suicide bombings. He said Boko Haram is trying to spread terror, after pledging allegiance to the Islamic State group earlier this year.

Boko Haram is blamed for five coordinated suicide bombings in neighboring Chad on Saturday, killing at least 36 people. Attacks have increased recently in Nigeria's neighboring countries that are helping fight the extremists.

Amnesty International says the Nigeria-born Islamic extremist group has killed about 20,000 people in its six-year uprising.
