Modelling is definitely a money-spinner, if you’re blessed with the prerequisite high cheekbones and long legs.
Forbes has released its list of the highest paid models of 2014, with some big-names models notably absent from the top 10.
Jourdan Dunn just missed the top 10 coming in at 13 (earning $4m), Cara Delevingne comes in at 15 (earning $3.5m), while Karlie Kloss beat both the Londoners at no.12 (earning $4m) – so who made the lucrative top 10 spots?
2) Doutzen Kroes.
The Victoria’s Secret Angel is the highest new entry securing the no.2 slot with $8m.
Like Moss, Lima has kept the same spot with $8m.
4) Kate Moss.
Another Kate, this time Moss and she holds on to the number 4 spot with $7m extra in the bank.
5) Kate Upton
She makes it into the list at an impressive midway point claiming the 5th spot with $7m. Oh, and she’s our ELLE cover star this month.
6) Miranda Kerr.
Despite a lot of media coverage this year (the Bieber/Bloom brawl) Kerr is down 4 places since last year earning $7m.
7) Liu Wen
The Estee Lauder model is down 2 places since last year with earnings of $7m.
8) Alessandra Ambrosio
She makes it into the list (she was absent from the 2013 top ten) having made $5m.
