Civil Servants Screening Committee in Kano State, on Wednesday confirmed the arrest of a fake retired director of Level 15, who appeared before the panel during the ongoing screening exercise of civil servants in the State.
Chairman of the committee, Dr. Suleiman Wali, confirmed the arrest of the woman, including two other accomplices, yesterday at the sitting of the committee at Audu Bako Secretariat, Kano.
According to Wali, the fake female director appeared before the committee on Tuesday, claiming a fake name on the state government’s payroll before she was unmasked.
Declining to reveal the identity of the arrested fake director and her accomplices, Wali, however described them as illiterate, assuring that as soon as the ongoing investigations are completed, they would be prosecuted.
